- Scope of work includes providing care and supervision of residents/midwives to patients on labor and delivery (admission, triage, deliveries by C-section or vaginal, postpartum BTL), OB/GYN triage area with procedures such as biopsies, exams, Bartholin's treatments, miscarriages, etc., coverage of the emergency department (emergencies, consults, etc.), coverage of urgent OR cases such as ruptured ectopic, torsion of masses, vaginal hemorrhage, etc. (laparoscopic/laparotomy approaches, D&C's, etc.), and coverage of ward patients. Backup is available for complicated patients or if there is a large, simultaneous influx of patients. Prior to taking call, complete proctoring would be required.

**Requirements**

- CA license with at least one year of experience following graduation
- Board Certified preferred; facility will consider Board Eligible. If BE, facility would like to see case logs from the last year of residency.
