Psychiatrist (Part time)

Job Description

• Work collaboratively with intra and interdepartmental staff to administer treatment for behavioral health patients utilizing nationally recognized treatment standards and documenting using an electronic health record system
• Conduct exams and write evaluations and reports
• Order and interpret diagnostic testing
• Manage medication
• Make referrals for specialized care or treatment
• Perform duties in accordance with scope of practice, ODRC policies, procedures, protocols, and related American Correctional Association standards
• Participate in continuous quality improvement meetings and activities, including peer reviews
• Engage in collaborative agreements, as needed

Requirements

• Part-time position with a shift from 7:00 AM to 5:00 AM (Monday to Friday)
• Commitment of 20 hours per week
