**Medical Director**

AdventHealth Hospice Care is seeking a Medical Director to provide medical expertise, oversight, and leadership of physician services, and to be responsible for the direction and quality of the medical care rendered by the business. This physician will assume responsibility for and delegate the evaluation, certification, and recertification of terminal prognosis for hospice patients. The Medical Director will also assume responsibility for educating both medical staff and other community physicians on the principles of hospice care and palliative medicine.

The Medical Director will have oversight of patients within AdventHealth's inpatient units, external long-term care facilities, and through hospice at-home services.
