Position Overview: The purpose of this position is to perform a variety of imaging procedures, including CT and X-Rays, at a technical level not requiring constant supervision. Essential Job Functions: <ul><li> Provide technical assistance and supportive patient care to assist the physicians, nurses and other technical and administrative staff in meeting the needs of individual patients throughout the facility. </li><li> Operate and maintain all imaging department equipment including but not limited to X-Ray, CT, CR reader, and PACS </li><li> Perform all imaging exams in accordance with established policies, procedures, regulations, and laws and ensure the physician on duty is notified of the results </li><li> Perform basic clinical procedures under the direction of the physician and/or nurse on duty </li><li> Maintain all required documentation, logs, charts, forms and records in paper and electronic formats </li><li> Collect laboratory samples and perform lab testing in accordance with established policies and procedures, as well as COLA and CLIA regulations </li><li> Maintain an adequate supply of all reagents and consumables to perform quality testing </li><li> Perform all routine daily, weekly, monthly, and periodic maintenance and function checks following established protocol for all imaging equipment </li><li> Perform Quality Control as established by this laboratory </li><li> Perform Proficiency Testing and/or Split Sample analysis periodically as established by this facility </li><li> Retain records of all analytic activities performed for a minimum of two years </li><li> Perform all Quality Assessment activities assigned to this position and document these activities for periodic review by the Laboratory Supervisor and/or the Laboratory Director </li></ul> Other Job Functions: <ul><li> Perform duties as ER Technician as needed </li><li> Maintain an adequate supply of all reagents and consumables to perform quality testing </li><li> Perform all routine daily, weekly, monthly, and periodic maintenance and function checks following established protocol for all imaging equipment </li><li> Travel to all facility locations as required </li><li> Attend staff meetings or other company sponsored or mandated meetings as required </li><li> Perform additional duties as assigned </li></ul> Basic Qualifications: <ul><li> High School diploma or GED, required </li><li> Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiology Technology, required </li><li> Associate's Degree in Radiology, preferred </li><li> Certified as a medical radiologic technologist as required by the state in which practicing, required </li><li> CT Certification, preferred </li><li> CT certification required within 12 months of hire (Pennsylvania market) </li><li> Registered Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in radiography required </li><li> Registered Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in computed tomography, preferred </li><li> Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association, required </li><li> 2+ years radiologic/imaging experience, preferred </li><li> 1+ years of CT experience, preferred </li><li> 1+ years of emergency room experience, preferred </li><li> Proficiency with most X-ray/CT equipment, manufacturer's hardware/software and PACS </li><li> Position requires fluency in English; written and oral communication </li></ul> <img src="https://www.jobg8.com/Tracking.aspx?QW%2bxEYNw4gzodXqcUlli4gu" width="0" height="0" />
