Overview: NaphCare is currently hiring Licensed Mental Health Clinicians to join our Jail Based Competency Treatment Program in Ukiah, CA, within the Mendocino County Detention Facility. The Jail-Based Competency Treatment (JBCT) program, a California Department of State Hospitals (DSH) satellite program, operates as a specialized mental health treatment program for 2 to 4 adult patients at the Mendocino County Jail. Our patients receive psychiatric and mental health services aimed at restoring their competency to stand trial so that they may proceed with pending criminal charges in the court system and move forward in their lives in a healthier place. The Clinician will conduct psychosocial assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, evaluate treatment goals, and provide individual and group therapy using psychoeducation, evidenced-based therapies, coping and social skills building, and support to improve patients' symptoms of mental illness and/or disability, functioning, and overall well-being.
