A north-central Wisconsin private surgical practice that has a patient draw from a 13-county region throughout Northcentral Wisconsin and the UP of Michigan is currently looking for a Trauma / Acute Care Physician Assistant. The Physician Assistant will assume a primary provider role in the care of patients in a hospital setting.The Position:<ul><li>Analyzes findings to create assessments, initiate treatment plans, and make referrals; performs diagnostics and prescribes treatments for medical and surgical issues.</li><li>Orders and interprets lab tests, administers treatments, and performs routine procedures, including first aid and wound care, while collaborating with physicians.</li><li>Develops and evaluates treatment plans, monitors patient outcomes, and ensures safety and quality standards in care.</li><li>Provides cross coverage of Surgical First Role within the operating room (minimal)</li><li>Completes Hospital rounds with Trauma and Acute Care attending physicians daily.
