**Gastroenterologist**

UPMC Hamot, located in Erie, Pennsylvania, has a new opportunity for a Gastroenterologist to join a well-established and growing practice! Bayfront Digestive Disease, established in 1984, is part of UPMC Hamot's Center for Digestive Health. The practice is focused on the management of digestive disorders in adults and pediatrics (12 years and older) and includes five physicians, thirteen advanced practice providers, along with a support staff of 35. The center unites the region's largest and most comprehensive team of digestive health physicians and surgeons, who provide diagnosis, treatment, and surgery procedures for digestive diseases. An in-house infusion suite can accommodate up to 10 patients.

UPMC Hamot uses the latest endoscope technology to help diagnose disease in the upper and lower gastrointestinal tract. New high-definition technology provides physicians with sharper images and better contrast. UPMC Hamot is the only hospital in the region currently using this state-of-the-art equipment. **Job Description**

- Procedures offered include colonoscopy, EGD, ERCP, BRAVO, capsule endoscopy, radiofrequency ablation therapy (HALO), radiofrequency (Stretta), infusion therapy, and hepatitis C treatment. Candidate can expect approximately 80% inpatient/procedures and approximately 20% office.
- Physicians rotate call every week - 1 week out of every 5 or 6. Call is a 7-day stretch from Monday 8:00 AM - Monday 8:00 AM with coverage 2 nights during that call week.

**Pain Management Physician**

UPMC Hamot, located in Erie, Pennsylvania, is seeking a skilled and compassionate Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Pain Management Physician to join its growing interventional pain medicine team. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on patient lives while practicing within a high-quality academic health system affiliated with the University of Pittsburgh. Our specialists work closely with UPMC Hamot's primary care network to institute a sustainable approach to pain management. The physician will work in a multispecialty clinical office.

**Job Description**

- Responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and managing a wide range of chronic pain syndromes.
- Provide outpatient office visits and perform procedures at the surgery center, with required travel to nearby regional clinics.
- Work in a multidisciplinary environment offering a full spectrum of pain treatments, including caudal nerve blocks, epidurals (cervical, thoracic, and lumbar), facet joint injections, genicular nerve block and ablation, intercostal nerve blocks, medial branch blocks, multimodal pain medicine management, occipital nerve blocks, platelet-rich plasma (PRP), prolotherapy, radiofrequency ablation, regenerative injection therapy, shoulder, knee, and hip injections, sympathetic blocks, trigeminal nerve blocks, and trigger point injections.

**Requirements**

- MD/DO from an accredited medical school.
- Candidate must be Board Eligible or Board Certified and have completed an ACGME Accredited Pain Medicine Fellowship.
- Ability to obtain an unrestricted Pennsylvania Medical License and necessary credentials.
- DEA certification.
- A commitment to patient-centered care and excellent interpersonal skills are essential.
