    Cardiac Anesthesiologist

    Bangor, Maine: A 400-bed academic regional medical center seeks a Cardiac Anesthesiologist to join a hospital-employed team in Maine's third largest city. This well-established service is supported by experienced PAs and NPs, anesthesia techs, hospitalists, surgical colleagues, and excellent nursing.

    Job Description

    • Convenient weekday schedule with 1:6 pager call
    • Adult cardiac only, including CABG, valve repairs/replacements, and aortic replacement (no transplant)
    • Physician-only cases
    • Case mix: about 40% cardiac and 60% non-cardiac
    • Modern facilities with 19 ORs, hybrid operating rooms, and interventional/EP suites
    • Maternity sees 1,500 annual deliveries supported by an excellent OB team
    • Team of five cardiac anesthesiologists plus general and pediatric colleagues

    Compensation & Benefits

    • Salary up to $620K, possibly more, plus incentives
