About the job
Uro-Oncologist
We seek a skilled Uro-Oncologist to join a busy and respected Urology practice in a 400-bed academic medical center in Maine's third largest city. This regional tertiary hospital is the site of an unopposed family medicine residency program and is the cornerstone of Maine's second largest healthcare system, serving over half a million residents. Join another Uro-Oncologist in this thriving hospital-employed practice with 6 Urologists. Their subspecialty focus includes minimally invasive procedures, endourology, voiding function, reconstructive and prosthetic urology, plus prostate MRI services and MRI fusion biopsy capabilities. This thriving service meshes with an established robotic surgical technology program founded over 20 years ago, giving the Urologists access to 3 robots. Outstanding medical and radiation oncology services are onsite. This position offers a convenient 4 day/week schedule. Physicians requiring J1 or H1b sponsorship are encouraged to apply. This is an equal opportunity employer. Qualified candidates will be current Fellows or graduates of an SUO-accredited Urologic Oncology Fellowship.
