Job Description
- Hospital-based practice with state-of-the-art cardiac catheterization laboratories.
- Collaborative and supportive team of cardiologists, surgeons, and healthcare professionals.
- Monday through Friday schedule with shared call.
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic interventional cardiology procedures, including coronary angiograms, percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), and other catheter-based procedures.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including general cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Evaluate patients with coronary artery disease, myocardial infarction, and other cardiovascular conditions, providing appropriate interventional treatments.
- Interpret diagnostic tests, such as EKGs, stress tests, and echocardiograms, to formulate treatment plans.
- Participate in the on-call rotation for emergency interventional cardiology services, including management of ST-elevation myocardial infarctions (STEMI).
- Provide pre-procedural and post-procedural patient care and consultation.
- Educate patients and their families on cardiovascular disease prevention, treatment options, and post-procedure recovery.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and stay current with the latest advancements in interventional cardiology.
