Family Practice Physician

We are seeking a qualified Family Practice Physician for an immediate opening. Our client is dedicated to providing the best healthcare to the residents of Indian River County.

Job Description

• Plan and implement primary care services to patients per healthcare plan and written protocols.
• Provide primary, secondary, and tertiary care, including counseling and referral within a multidisciplinary team.
• Work Monday to Friday (40 hours a week).
• Manage 18-22 patient calls by phone with a call schedule of 1:6.
• Collaborate with full support staff.

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Practice required.
• Documentation of completion of education as Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO). If medical education was obtained outside of the U.S., documentation from the ECFMG is required.
• Current and unrestricted Florida medical license required.
• Current and clear DEA registration.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Benefits

• Annual salary: $172,000 for BE and $180,000 for BC, based on experience.
