Job Description

• Confer with customers by telephone, email, or SMS messaging to provide information about products or services, cancel accounts, or upgrade accounts.
• Assist with processing of pharmacy sales orders, process payments, refunds, or exchanges.
• Inform customers of deals and promotions, answer questions about warranties and terms of sale.
• Sell products and services and solicit sales of new or additional products or services.
• Call insurances to obtain patient PBM coverage information.
• Accurate data entry into the system.
• Document collection and storage.
• Contact doctor offices to collect and request prescriptions, authorizations, clinical notes, and lab results.
• Run pharmacy test claims and communicate copays to the patient.
• Answer phones and provide customer service.
• Keep workspace and common pharmacy areas clean.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and function within the guidelines of HIPAA.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma is required.
• Three (3) years of prior pharmacy experience is required.
