    Clinical Supervisor

The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for directing the clinical activities of assigned clinicians at a company location; planning clinical services to clients and conferring with employees to ensure services are provided at quality levels consistent with professional standards of practice. The position reports to the Area Manager and is qualified to act as the Area Manager in a short-term absence.

    Job Description

    • Reflects the company's mission and values in developing and maintaining professional working relationships with others.
    • Ensures client care is delivered according to established care guidelines, Plan of Care, physician and non-physician practitioner (NPP) orders, agency policies and procedures, and meets insurance and payer requirements.
    • Manages the daily clinical operations of the branch to ensure clients receive quality-assured, cost-effective, and compliant care as efficiently as possible.
    • Plans, directs, and participates in the delivery of client care services, including case assignment, delegation of tasks, case conferencing, ordering medical supplies, and visit scheduling activities.
    • Mentors and supervises staff, holding them accountable for role responsibilities, competencies, individual performance, and goals.
    • Ensures recruitment, onboarding, supervision, evaluation, training, assignment, and discharge of staff is done according to established company policies and procedures.
    • Provides oversight and guidance on communicable disease management for clients and employees.
    • Monitors and evaluates client care and outcome data and implements processes to continuously improve delivery of quality care to clients.
    • Demonstrates leadership by providing clinical oversight, education, orientation, and training to licensed clinicians, office personnel, and unlicensed personnel.
    • Reviews clinical record documentation to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and company policies and procedures.
    • Communicates and coordinates clinical care needs between the clinicians and the office.
    • Leads multidisciplinary teams in regularly scheduled clinical meetings and case conferences.
    • Participates in the after-hours on-call process to ensure client care policies and procedures are followed and staffing issues resolved.
    • Develops and maintains a positive relationship with referral sources including physicians, hospitals, nursing homes, community resources, insurance companies, and payers.

    Schedule

    • This is a full-time in-office position, Monday - Friday with an on-call rotation.

    Requirements

    • Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Minnesota. The license must not have been revoked or suspended and must be without limitations or restrictions.
    • Proof of negative TB testing: mantoux skin test, single TB blood test or chest x-ray.
    • Access to a dependable automobile in order to travel to multiple company business stops a day.
    • A valid driver's license and proof of current car insurance when using a personal vehicle for company business.
    • Have U.S. citizenship or evidence of valid Alien Work Permit.
    • Disclose any conviction and criminal history records pertaining to any crime related to the provision of health services. A candidate who has been convicted of such crimes will not be hired.
    • Pass initial and ongoing background studies and screenings including but not limited to those of the Minnesota Department of Health and the Federal Office of the Inspector General's List of Excluded Individuals and Entities.

    Skills and Experience

    • Have at least two (2) years' experience in a health care facility or home care field.
    • Demonstrates critical thinking skills, the ability to follow standards and procedures, and make appropriate clinical judgments to provide safe and effective client care.
    • Ability to work independently, adapt to change, and manage a variety of assignments while establishing priorities and ensuring the necessary duties are completed.
    • Ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills; interpersonal communication and teaching skills.
    • Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new software programs; experience with Electronic Medical Records and Microsoft Outlook preferred.
    • Current CPR certification highly recommended.

    Adara Home Health, Inc. is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base salary range for this position in the U.S. is $83,000 - $97,000 per year. A candidate's salary is determined by various factors including but not limited to relevant work experience, skills, certifications, job level, supervisory status, and location.
