Join our team as an Anesthesiologist in Kingwood, TX, providing locum tenens coverage in an acute care hospital setting. This position offers a combination of clinical responsibilities and on-call duties, ensuring a dynamic work environment.
Job Description
- Provide anesthesia services for a wide range of surgical procedures
- Supervise up to 14 CRNAs within a care team model
- Participate in scheduled clinical shifts and in-house call coverage
- Collaborate with surgeons, nursing staff, and anesthesia colleagues
- Ensure safe, effective anesthetic care and timely documentation
Requirements
- Active Texas medical license (IMLC accepted)
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
- DEA required
- Certifications as required by facility
- Comfortable supervising CRNAs and covering OB cases
- Ability to work in a high-volume acute care OR environment
