    Emergency Medicine Physician

    Join our dynamic team as an Emergency Medicine Physician in Sioux City, IA. This locum tenens position offers an opportunity to provide care in a Level II trauma center with ongoing coverage needs starting March 1, 2026.

    Job Description

    • Provide comprehensive emergency medical care for patients of all ages
    • Manage acute and emergent conditions in a Level II trauma center
    • Perform emergency procedures and coordinate admissions as required
    • Collaborate with hospitalist medicine and consulting services
    • Document all patient encounters accurately in Cerner EMR

    Requirements

    • Active state medical license, CDS, and DEA with Iowa address required
    • Board Certified in ABEM, ABFM, or ABIM (or osteopathic equivalents)
    • Active DEA required
    • ACLS, ATLS, and PALS certifications required
    • Residency trained in the specialty certified in
    • CME documentation and case logs from the past two years required

    Benefits

    • Daily overtime after 12 hours and weekly overtime after 168 hours, differential applied
