Join our team as an Emergency Medicine Physician in Osage Beach, MO. This locum tenens position offers the opportunity to work in a hospital setting with a focus on clinical coverage.

Job Description

• Provide emergency department coverage
• Participate in 12-hour shifts across a flexible schedule
• Coordinate with APPs between Main ED and Fast Track
• Evaluate and manage a diverse patient population
• Accept moonlighting residents for coverage support
• Accurately document all care in EMR

Patient Information

• Patient demographics: 22% Pediatric, 5% OBGYN, 9% Trauma, 12% Geriatric
• Patient volume/census: 36K annual ED volume
• Case mix: General Emergency Medicine

Facility Information

• Number of beds in department: 35 ED beds
• Trauma level: Level III Trauma Center
• EMR system: Meditech & Dragon
• Specialty backup available: APPs work between Main ED & Fast Track
• Support staff available: APPs, Residents (moonlighting)

Requirements

• Licenses: Missouri license required
• Board: BE/BC in EM, FP, or IM (must have 3 years ER experience); ABEM preferred
• DEA: Required
• Certifications: ACLS, ATLS (required); PALS preferred
• Experience: Minimum 3 years ER experience for non-EM boarded physicians
• Other qualifications: Experience with Meditech & Dragon preferred
