Job Description

• Provide 12-hour clinical emergency coverage on a flexible schedule
• Coordinate care with 11-hour APP shift coverage
• Manage ED patients across general emergency, OB, and surgical cases
• Accept and collaborate with moonlighting residents
• Accurately document in MedHost EMR

Requirements

• Active Texas license and DEA required
• Board-certified in Emergency Medicine, Family Practice, or Internal Medicine; if Family Practice or Internal Medicine, 2,000+ hours of ED experience required
• Certifications: ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS, Trauma CME (9 hours annually)
• Experience: 2+ years of Emergency Medicine experience for NP/PA; 2,000+ hours for non-Emergency Medicine physicians
• Clean file required
