Hospitalist/Nocturnist

Join our team as a Hospitalist/Nocturnist in Salem, VA. This locum tenens position offers a flexible schedule and the opportunity to provide care in a supportive hospital environment.

Job Description

• Provide inpatient hospitalist care to adult patients
• Participate in rounding and admissions as required
• Perform procedures such as central lines, lumbar puncture, thoracentesis, and paracentesis
• Collaborate with residency program and medical staff
• Ensure quality patient care and documentation in EMR system

Requirements

• Active Virginia medical license required
• Board eligible/certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Active DEA required
• For GME positions, prior GME experience required
• Must have a clean file and be willing to work days/nights, minimum 7 shifts
