Hospitalist/Nocturnist

Join our team as a Hospitalist/Nocturnist in Kansas City, MO, providing care in an acute care hospital setting. This locum tenens position offers ongoing coverage starting March 1, 2026.

Job Description

• Provide inpatient hospitalist care including admissions and rounding
• Participate in day or nocturnist coverage based on assignment
• Collaborate with advanced practice providers, intensivists, and specialty consultants
• Manage patients within an open ICU model with intensivist support
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the Meditech EMR

Requirements

• Active Missouri medical license
• Board Certified preferred
• MD or DO degree
• Hospital medicine experience preferred
• Comfortable working within a team-based hospitalist model; interest in participating in a developing ECMO program

• Daily overtime after 12 hours; weekly overtime after 168 hours
