Obstetrics & Gynecology Locum Tenens

Join our team in McMinnville, OR, for a locum tenens position in Obstetrics & Gynecology. This role offers an opportunity to provide supplemental coverage in an inpatient service setting.

Job Description

• Coverage period: July 1, 2024 - ongoing
• Call only coverage with a 24-hour call schedule (8a-8a)
• Call ratio of 1:3 with a response time of 20 minutes
• Annual deliveries: 240
• Patient volume: 1-2 patients per shift
• Phone consults: 3-4 per shift
• Admissions: 1-2 per shift
• Rounding included
• Procedures include:
  • Low-risk pregnancy management
  • FHR interpretation
  • Routine (vaginal) and complicated deliveries (C-sections, breech, abruptions, multiple births)
  • Surgical gynecology (laparoscopic diagnostic/minor only, tubal ligation, operative/major including ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy)

Requirements

• Active Oregon medical license
• Board certified/board eligible
• NRP certification
