Orthopedic Surgery-NP/PA

Join our team as an Orthopedic Surgery Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Camp Hill, PA. This locum tenens position offers a dynamic work environment with a focus on inpatient care.

Job Description

• Provide clinical care and call coverage in an inpatient setting
• Day shifts of 8-12 hours, with night call responsibilities
• Round on patients, assist in the operating room, and respond to emergency department pages
• Manage a patient volume of 5-10, with 2-5 admissions daily
• Work alongside 5 advanced practice providers, including 2 during the day and 1 at night
• Required procedures include suturing and performing fracture reductions
• Comfortable working independently and calling trauma/orthopedic surgeons for backup
• Experience as an operating room assistant is necessary

Requirements

• Active Pennsylvania license
• Board certified or board eligible
• ACLS certification
• Previous experience in a similar role
