Join our dynamic team as a Pediatric Hospitalist in Fort Myers, FL. This locum tenens position offers an opportunity to work in a hospital setting on the pediatric floor, providing essential care to pediatric inpatients.

Job Description

• Provide clinical coverage and call support for pediatric inpatients.
• Manage admissions and round on pediatric patients.
• Collaborate with pediatric subspecialists and a multidisciplinary team.
• Ensure high-quality inpatient care during holiday periods and coverage gaps.
• Work in collaboration with experienced nurse practitioners on the pediatric floors.

Requirements

• Active Florida license required.
• Board Certified in Pediatrics.
• Active DEA Certification required.
• Certifications: BLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), NICA membership/receipts.
• Demonstrated experience in pediatric hospital medicine.
• Proficient and independent in performing lumbar punctures.
• Submission of updated CV, NPDB (within 3 months), and case logs covering 24 inpatient records within the past 12 months (with patient age noted preferred).

Compensation & Benefits

• Fixed daily rate with overtime after 12 hours; weekly overtime after 168 hours.
• Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered (details TBD).
