Gastroenterologist

Join our team as a Gastroenterologist in Richmond, VA, providing both inpatient and outpatient care. This locum tenens position offers a unique opportunity for supplemental coverage.

Job Description

• Provide call coverage from 7 a.m. to 7 a.m.
• Manage a patient volume of approximately 8 procedures per weekend.
• Perform various procedures including:
  • Esophageal dilatation/manometry
  • Small bowel biopsy, liver biopsy
  • Sigmoidoscopy, colonoscopy
  • Lower and upper GI endoscopy
  • Insertion/management of Sengstaken/Blakemore tube
  • ERCP, EUS
• Utilize onsite lab and X-ray facilities.
• Work with Epic EMR.

Requirements

• Active Virginia medical license
• Board certified
• COVID/Flu vaccination
• Clean record
