Join our team as a Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic Surgeon in Longview, TX. This locum tenens position offers an opportunity to work in an inpatient service setting with a focus on supplemental coverage.

Job Description

• Provide cardiovascular and thoracic surgical care, including vascular surgeries such as aneurysm repairs, thoracic and abdominal procedures, arterial bypass, and general CV/thoracic surgeries.
• Perform open and endoscopic coronary artery bypass surgeries, congenital defect repairs, valvular repairs and replacements, and various chest wall or pleural procedures.
• Manage permanent pacemaker placements, AICD insertions, left ventricular assist devices, and other critical interventions.
• Respond to call duties with a response time of 30 minutes, including admissions and support from RNs, MAs, PAs/NPs, and office staff.

Requirements

• Active Texas medical license
• Board-certified or board-eligible
• Must be able to perform vascular surgeries
