Join our team as a Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant in Rock Hill, SC. This locum tenens position offers an opportunity to work in an inpatient service setting, providing supplemental coverage.

Job Description

• Will round on inpatients, assist in the OR, and take first call.
• Include ICU, post-op care, OR first assist, vein harvesting, and floor night call.
• No transplants involved.

Requirements

• Active SC License
• Board Certified
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Local candidates preferred

  • April 8 (7a) - April 15 (7a)
  • May 9 (7a) - May 13 (7a)

  • June 19 (7a) - June 24 (7a)
• Shift Schedule: Monday to Friday; 6-8 hours per day, with 10 shifts per month
• Call Schedule: Weeknights & 24-hour weekend calls (Saturday & Sunday), with a call ratio of 1:4
• Call Response Time: 30 minutes
• Phone Consults: 10-20 per day floor calls
• Patient Volume: 3-8 patients
• Admissions: 3 patients
• Rounding Included: Yes
• Support Staff: 4 RNs, 3 NPs/PAs, and 1 office staff
