Job Description

• Specialty: Cardiovascular Surgery-NP/PA
• Facility Location: Portland, ME
• Reason for Coverage: Supplemental
• Coverage Period: ASAP - Ongoing
• Coverage Type: Clinical + Call
• Shift Schedule:
  • OR: 4 (10-12 hr days/week)
  • ICU: 3 (12-13 hr days/week)
• Call Schedule:
  • Nights (Surgical): 6p-6a; 1-2 days/week
  • Weekends: Fri(6p) - Mon(6a); 1 weekend/month
• Annual Pump Cases: 1,600
• Physicians in Practice: 7 adult surgeons
• Mid-levels in Practice: 32
• Duties: Surgeons operate & APPs take care of the rest.
• EVH: Maquet Hemopro2
• Credentialing Estimate: Immediately & would push for emergency credentials.
• Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered.

Requirements

• Active ME License or IMLC
• Board Certified
• COVID & Flu Vaccination proofs
