• Patient Demographics: Primarily adults; pediatric and adolescent patients are sent to the nearby children's hospital
• Average Number of Surgical Cases: 10 per day
• Annual ER Volume: 27,000
• Physician in Practice: 1 General Surgeon
• Support Staff: Experienced and well-trained OR staff skilled in robotic surgical procedures and all general surgery procedures
• Duties: Primary responsibility is hospital general surgery and Level 3 trauma call coverage, general surgery consult coverage at the hospital; may receive referrals/questions from the APP in outpatient settings
• Required Procedures: General surgical cases (adult and trauma), central line insertion, PA catheter placement, chest tube insertion, vascular access devices, cholecystectomy, and hernioplasty; preferred procedures include appendectomies, bowel resections, and trauma care for perforations or lacerations of internal organs
• Number of ORs: 10

Requirements

• Active Ohio License
• Board Certified
• BLS, ACLS, ATLS certifications
• Clean record
• Proximity to Ohio preferred
