Urgent Care NP/PA

Join our team as an Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Warsaw, IN. This locum tenens position offers a great opportunity to provide outpatient care in a supportive environment.

Job Description

• Provide clinical care in an outpatient setting
• Perform physical examinations and assess patients' medical conditions
• Counsel and educate patients, refer and transfer care as needed
• Prescribe medication
• Manage a patient volume of 15-30
• Participate in admissions and rounding
• Work with support staff including Medical Assistants/Nurses and Respiratory Therapists
• Utilize EMR systems including HMS and Athena

Requirements

• Active Indiana License
• Board Certified/Board Eligible
• Certifications in ABLS, BLS, and PALS
• Minimum of 3 years of experience

• Shifts needed to be filled include:
  • July 7; 12 PM - 8:30 PM (Orientation)
  • July 10, 15; 12 PM - 8:30 PM
  • July 8, 16, 29; 12:30 PM - 8:30 PM
  • July 14, 17, 21, 28; 8:30 AM - 8:30 PM
• Shift schedule varies
