Join our team as a Nurse Practitioner in an outpatient urgent care setting located in Hanover, PA. This full-time locum tenens position offers a dynamic work environment with a focus on patient care.

Job Description

• Provide clinical care in an outpatient urgent care setting
• Manage a diverse patient population of all ages, with an expected volume of 34 patients per hour
• Handle a variety of cases including cold/flu, rashes, abrasions, lacerations, sprains, minor burns, and splinting
• Perform procedures such as orthopedic splinting and wound care
• Work solo with remote physician support available for escalation
• Utilize Epic EMR for patient documentation

Requirements

• Active PA NP License required
• Board Certified
• DEA required
• Certifications in ACLS and BLS
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Urgent Care or 1 year in Emergency Medicine
• Comfortable providing care to all ages and performing wound care and orthopedic procedures (splinting)
