Neonatologist

Join our team as a Neonatologist in Long Beach and Santa Monica, CA. This permanent position offers the opportunity to provide expert care to critically ill neonates in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Job Description

• Provide expert care to critically ill neonates
• Participate in advanced neonatal services such as maternal and neonatal transport, whole-body cooling, iNO therapy, palliative care, telemedicine, and a specialized Small Baby Unit
• Manage a patient volume of approximately 55 infants in Long Beach and 5 in Santa Monica
• Handle annual admissions of around 1,400 in Long Beach and 2,000 in Santa Monica
• Collaborate with specialty backup including MFM Physicians, OB Hospitalists, and pediatric medical & surgical subspecialists

Requirements

• Active CA license or ability to obtain
• Board Certified/Board Eligible (if BE, within 5 years of residency)
• Clean record (highly preferred)
• Must have experience
• DEA (must obtain prior to start date)
