Hospitalist Physician

Join our full-service hospitalist practice at University of Maryland (UM) Upper Chesapeake Health locations in Bel Air and Aberdeen. This position is part of the University of Maryland Medical System, a university hospital with excellent specialty support.

Job Description

• Average 15 patients per day
• Closed ICU; our team is not expected to perform procedures or run codes
• Staffing Model: 23 providers; 12 physicians/11 APPs
• EMR: EPIC
• Beds: 257
• Trauma Level: Level II
• Responsibilities include rounds, admissions, discharges, and daily multidisciplinary rounds, geographic rounds, participation in rapid response and code team. Swing shift rotation covers admissions and new consults during the day.
