Job Description

• Expertise in wound care: Oversee wound care treatments in a nursing home environment.
• Collaborative environment: Collaborate with a supportive team where Physicians supervise Physician Assistants/Nurse Practitioners.
• Continuous learning: While experience is appreciated, it's not mandatory. We encourage you to immerse yourself in wound care education.
• Thorough assessment: Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, paying special attention to factors that increase the risk of wound formation.
• Skilled debridement: Perform wound debridement and prescribe appropriate wound dressings.
• Medication management: Order necessary medications and provide clear instructions for their use.
• Educate and communicate: Educate nursing staff, and maintain open communication with primary care physicians, families, and clinical teams as required.
