Job Description
- Expertise in wound care: Oversee wound care treatments in a nursing home environment.
- Collaborative environment: Collaborate with a supportive team where Physicians supervise Physician Assistants/Nurse Practitioners.
- Continuous learning: While experience is appreciated, it's not mandatory. We encourage you to immerse yourself in wound care education.
- Thorough assessment: Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, paying special attention to factors that increase the risk of wound formation.
- Skilled debridement: Perform wound debridement and prescribe appropriate wound dressings.
- Medication management: Order necessary medications and provide clear instructions for their use.
- Educate and communicate: Educate nursing staff, and maintain open communication with primary care physicians, families, and clinical teams as required.

- Assigned facilities: We group facilities by location and assign them to our physicians, ARNPs, and PAs. You'll visit these facilities weekly to manage patients' wound care, averaging 2-4 facilities and 18-25 patients per day.
