Cardiologist
AdventHealth Medical Group (AHMG) is looking for a dynamic and energetic Cardiologist with fellowship training in Sports Cardiology to join our team to build sports cardiology services at the AdventHealth Training Center. The Training Center serves as the training site for the Orlando Magic and is a destination sports medicine hub to Central Florida. Located just one block away from the Amway Center, the medical hub is designed for elite athletes, as well as youth athletes and weekend warriors.
The position will also include a Medical Directorship, with 60/40 clinical to medical directorship time starting the first two years to build the program. The physician will be part of the AHMG Orlando Cardiology call schedule and will have part-time clinic space in the Cardiology office.
Job Description
- Board Certification in Internal Medicine with subspecialty board certification in Cardiovascular Disease is required.
- High caliber, quality-focused, innovative physicians should apply.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
- Ideal candidates will have experience building a program; however, recent graduates and those early in their career stage willing to build a practice will be considered.
- Bi-lingual in Spanish is strongly preferred.
