Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner

Advanced Practice Provider (APP)

AdventHealth Centra Care is currently seeking dynamic and motivated APPs to join our team per diem in Kansas!

This employment opportunity will be an outpatient position, with an active and expanding clinical service with the Centra Care group. We specialize in family medicine, pediatrics, orthopedics, and corporate medicine. Each of our urgent care centers provides non-appointment-based services including on-site x-rays, on-site labs, on-site prescription drugs, and electronic medical records; with accessibility at the heart of our mission, our urgent care centers provide patients with seven-day-a-week access to walk-in services.

The opportunity includes competitive compensation and malpractice coverage; our per diem providers are required to work a minimum of four shifts per month.

Job Description

• Provide outpatient care in family medicine, pediatrics, orthopedics, and corporate medicine
• Perform minor procedures such as laceration repair, abscess incision and drainage, foreign body removal, and splinting
• Interpret basic ECG and x-ray results

Requirements

• Experience with minor procedures
• Basic ECG and x-ray interpretation skills
