    General Urologist

    AdventHealth Rocky Mountain Region is seeking a skilled and compassionate General Urologist to join our AHMG Urology team in Littleton, CO. This full-time role focuses on providing high-quality inpatient and outpatient care, including surgical and non-surgical treatments. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive urologic care, ensuring exceptional outcomes and patient satisfaction.

    Job Description

    • Diagnose and treat conditions affecting the urinary tract and male reproductive system.
    • Review and document patient medical histories accurately.
    • Order, interpret, and act on diagnostic tests and imaging.
    • Utilize specialized equipment for diagnosis and treatment.
    • Perform urologic surgeries and procedures as clinically indicated.
    • Manage lower urinary tract disorders and related conditions.
    • Prescribe medications for infections, injuries, and urologic conditions.
    • Provide expert consultations and coordinate referrals to other specialists when necessary.
    • Supervise and mentor advanced practice providers (APPs) and nurse practitioners.
    • Participate in call coverage as determined by program needs.
    • Maintain compliance with all clinical and organizational standards.
    • DaVinci robotic surgery available, but not required.
    • Perform other duties as assigned to support patient care and team success.

    Requirements

    • MD or DO degree with completion of accredited urology residency (and fellowship if applicable).
    • Board certification or eligibility in Urology.
    • Active State Medical License and DEA registration.
    • Current BLS Certification.
    • Proficiency with modern medical technologies and surgical techniques.
    • Ability to work flexible hours and participate in on-call rotations.
    • Strong clinical judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • Leadership skills with a collaborative team approach.
    • Competence in navigating multiple EMR systems.
    • Effective time management and organizational skills.
