    Physician Assistant (PA-C)

    Adventist Health Portland is seeking a Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join our growing Gastroenterology Clinic located on our main hospital campus in beautiful Portland, Oregon. This is a growth position within a collaborative, high-functioning GI service line currently comprised of 4 Gastroenterologists and 2 Physician Assistants, with active plans for continued expansion. As patient demand increases and our services grow, we are adding an additional PA to support the program.

    Job Description

    • Full Time 1.0 FTE
    • Primarily outpatient clinic responsibilities, with limited inpatient on-call MD support
    • No call obligation
    • Supportive, collegial team environment
    • Opportunity to help shape a growing GI service line
    • Main campus location with strong specialty collaboration
    • Open to new graduates or experienced PAs

    Role & Responsibilities

    • Inpatient GI consults and rounding
    • Outpatient clinic visits and follow-ups
    • Pre- and post-procedure management
    • Care coordination with hospitalists, surgeons, and primary care teams
    • Participation in quality initiatives and service line development

    Requirements

    • Board-certified/board-eligible Physician Assistant
    • Strong communication and team collaboration skills
    • Interest in Gastroenterology (experience preferred but not required)
    • Motivated to grow within an expanding specialty program
