Urologic Surgeon

The position is in Rockville, Maryland.

Job Description

• Diagnose and treat general urology
• Manage kidney and bladder stones
• Address urinary incontinence
• Treat testicular, prostate, and genitourinary cancers
• Document and review patient history
• Provide urology consultation to physicians and other healthcare professionals
• Refer patients to specialists when needed
• Direct the work of nurses, residents, or other staff to provide patient care
• Treat urologic disorders using alternative or traditional surgery
• Prescribe or administer antibiotics to treat infection or injury

Requirements

• Degree of Doctor of Medicine or osteopathy
• American Board of Urology certified or Board-Eligible (within 4 years of completing residency)
• An interest in oncology is a plus
• Candidates must have completed an accredited urology residency program
• Active license, CDS, and DEA in Maryland
• Candidate is required to share call schedule
