Job Description

• In Iowa, providers will have full-time availability with 24-hour call (0-4 hours). They will round on 12-15 patients at the clinic and conduct 5-10 inpatient consults per day. Call back hours may vary, with an expectation of 4-6 hours for interventional cases. Providers will cover general call on some days. Procedures include diagnostic cath, angioplasty, stenting, stress echo, nuclear stress tests, reading echoes, holters, event monitors, TEE, and cardioversions. EMR used is Epic. Candidates must have an Iowa license or be eligible for IMLC. Credentialing timeframe is approximately 60 days.

• In Arizona, the contract length is 6 months with shifts from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, including a 1-hour lunch and 1-2 weekends per month. The call requirement includes 1-2 weekends per month. The practice setting is a hospital with support from 2 physicians in the group. Providers will see 16-20 patients per day, primarily aged 60 and older. The department description is for the Cardiovascular Institute in Flagstaff, which needs general cardiology coverage. EMR used is Cerner. Skills preferred include strong interpersonal and relational abilities with staff and patients. The interview process involves a team interview.

• In Ohio, candidates must have an Ohio license (no IMLC accepted). This position is for a Noninvasive Cardiologist working full-time from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, focusing on hospital-based services only without performing procedures. The role includes participating in 1:5 weekend rounding and call. The need is immediate for approximately 9 months, involving stress tests and inpatient rounding in the mornings at MVHN (census of 8-10) and MVH rounding in the afternoons (census roughly 10-15).
