Cardiologist

Join our team as a Cardiologist, providing essential care in various locations including Iowa, Arizona, and Ohio. This position offers a full-time schedule with opportunities to work in both outpatient and inpatient settings.

Job Description

• Full-time availability with 24-hour call (0-4 hours)
• Round on 12-15 patients at the clinic and 5-10 inpatient consults per day
• Call back hours vary, potentially 4-6 hours for interventional cases, with general call coverage required on some days
• Perform diagnostic catheterizations, angioplasty, stenting, stress echocardiograms, nuclear stress tests, reading echocardiograms, holters, event monitors, transesophageal echocardiograms (TEEs), and cardioversions
• EMR systems used: Epic in Iowa and Cerner in Arizona
• Must have an active Ohio license for the Ohio position; IMLC accepted for other locations
• Credentialing timeframe is approximately 60 days

Requirements

• Must have a valid license in Ohio for the Ohio position
• Experience in general cardiology and noninvasive procedures preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with staff and patients
