GI Provider

Join our team in Alton, IL, where we are looking for a dedicated GI provider. This position offers a mix of procedural work and patient care in a supportive environment.

Job Description

• Must have an IL license.
• Monday to Friday clinic schedule.
• Providers are expected to cover overnight weekday call while on-site.
• Minimum availability of 2 weeks per month (10 days), but full-time candidates are also welcome.
• Primarily performing procedures in the GI lab, with 4 days dedicated to procedures and 1 day in the clinic office seeing patients.
• Each day consists of 8-9 hours of work.
• The lab typically schedules 12-13 procedures on lab days and around 20 patients in the clinic.
• Inpatient rounding as needed, with a manageable volume due to the hospital's size (49 beds).
• Must be able to perform scopes for bleeds, EGDs, routine colonoscopies, and treat bleeders in the esophagus.
