RN - Labor & Delivery - Seasonal 6 Month Contract - Nights Shift

Additionally, Aiken Regional provides comprehensive healthcare services such as behavioral health (Aurora Pavilion Behavioral Health), emergency medical care (main hospital and ER at Sweetwater), orthopedic surgeries, maternity, rehabilitation services (Hitchcock Rehabilitation Services), imaging, and wound care.

The Registered Nurse provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy. Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team. The concepts of patient-centered care will provide the foundation for all nursing care. Demonstrates service excellence standards at all times.

Job Description

• Provide excellent care, comfort, and security to patients and families during their most vulnerable times.
• Be part of a large, nationwide network of peer nurses and nursing leaders that educate the field, routinely exchange ideas, and review current topics within the industry.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
• Current license to practice nursing in South Carolina.
• One year of Labor & Delivery experience required.
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, and Basic FHM certifications required. Successful completion of CPI training during orientation.
