Schedule: Sign-up schedule. Can average between 5 to 13 shifts each month.

Job Description

• Consult with consultants appropriately.
• Provide medical advice over the telephone.
• Complete all required paperwork.
• Diagnose and treat diseases and injuries.
• Perform medical procedures.
• Obtain an adequate history, physical assessment, and plan in a timely and appropriate manner on each patient and develop a treatment plan.
• Utilize paraprofessional staff as appropriate.
• Respond to cardiopulmonary arrest as appropriate and arrange appropriate backup from the Emergency Medical Service (EMS).
• Interpret electrocardiograms.
• Preliminary to interpret radiographs to include CAT scans.
• Direct medical care through radio communication with an ambulance.
