Infectious Disease Physician

Join 3 well-established ID physicians, providing treatment for a wide range of infectious diseases in Anchorage, Alaska. HIV, TB, zoonotic diseases, and returning travelers are frequently seen, along with a mix of immunocompromised and transplant cases. This position involves 80% inpatient work at 3 local community hospitals, with clinic hours of 2 half-days per week and a 1:4 (on average) weekend call. A daily average census of 15 patients while rounding in 1 or 2 of the 3 local hospitals daily. Anchorage is home to the 2 referral hospitals for Alaska, so you will have the unique opportunity to share call for the entire state. Job Description

• Provide treatment for a wide range of infectious diseases
• Manage HIV, TB, zoonotic diseases, and cases involving immunocompromised and transplant patients
• Work primarily inpatient at 3 local community hospitals
• Participate in clinic for 2 half-days per week
• Share call for the entire state of Alaska

Compensation Information

• $250,000.00 / Annually - $400,000.00 / Annually
