Otolaryngology Physician Assistant

ENT APP

The Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium (ANTHC) seeks an ENT APP to join our team. As a 182-bed Level II Trauma center, ANMC represents over 30 medical specialties and serves as the award-winning tertiary referral center for Alaska Native and American Indian people across the state. As a hospital-employed practice serving adult and pediatric patients, you will receive exposure to the entire scope of the specialty with an emphasis on otology, cancer, and trauma.

Job Description

• Desired ENT procedural skills. Standard in clinic procedures include flexible/rigid nasolaryngoscopy, cerumen debridement, myringotomy tube checks, nasal endoscopy, and minor skin lesion excisions. (Nasal fracture reduction excluded.)

Requirements

• Master's Degree or Doctorate in Nursing or Physician's Assistant
• Certification by an approved national certifying body
• Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Certification
• State of Alaska Advanced Practice Provider License
• Preferred: 2 to 5 years post-graduate experience as a nurse practitioner or PA managing ENT patients
• Genuine interest in Otolaryngology, astute clinical skills, superior communication and relationship-building skills, flexible team player, culturally sensitive
