    Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery/Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery

    The Department of Urology at Albany Medical College is growing rapidly, and we are recruiting physicians in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery/Urogynecology/URPS. You would join established FPMRS/URPS specialist MDs along with 2 full-time dedicated FPMRS/URPS advanced practice providers, strong nursing and administrative support, in a Department of 15 highly collaborative urology faculty.

    Job Description

    • Accredited Urogynecology fellowship
    • Multidisciplinary urogynecology education and clinics; collaborations include pain management, neurosurgery, interventional radiology, colorectal surgery, GI, PMR, and pelvic floor physical therapy
    • World-class pelvic pain clinic with Neurology and MIS Gynecology
    • Excellent clinical facilities with easy patient access and free parking
    • In-office ultrasound, fluoro-urodynamics, cystoscopy, laboratory technician
    • Immediately adjacent to outpatient surgery center in the same building
    • Outstanding urology residency - one of the only programs in the country with fellowship-trained faculty in every Urologic subspecialty
    • Regular student interactions - rotations are highly rated/valued by our students
    • Multiple opportunities for clinical and basic research, facilitated by three in-house clinical research staff to support the IRB process and research-participant interactions
    • Supported student and resident research rotations
    • Call responsibility: 1 in 10 to 1 in 15
    • Salary range: $325-$500K per year, commensurate with experience and academic rank
