GI Physician

All Star Healthcare Solutions is seeking a GI to assist with locum coverage in Alaska.

Job Description

• Board Certified or Board Eligible GI
• Outpatient/Inpatient mix
• 80% outpatient and 20% inpatient
• Night inpatient call
• Provider is to handle all scheduled outpatient endoscopies
  • No clinic
  • About 4 to 6 procedures per day
  • After procedures, locum will do inpatient rounding and consults. Low census here, about 0 to 4 inpatient consults per shift
• Patients in a full day
• Providers will be paid as a W2 directly from the client
• No Alaska license needed
• Extremely light inpatient call on weekends
  • 0 to 2 hours of callback per weekend day
• EMR: Cerner
• General GI only
• Coverage dates:
  • 1/26 to 2/2 ending 2/2 at 7 AM
  • 2/9 to 2/16 ending 2/16 at 7 AM
  • 2/23 to 3/2 ending 3/2 at 7 AM
  • 3/2 to 3/9 ending 3/9 at 7 AM
