Our orthopedic client in Dover, NJ is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant to join their team. The PA will primarily work with a board-certified orthopedic surgeon that specializes in total joints. Candidates with previous orthopedic experience are required.

Job Description

• Full-time permanent position
• Monday-Friday schedule
• First assist in the OR, treat patients in clinic & rounds
• Minimal call requirements
• Conduct thorough patient evaluations and assessments
• Diagnose conditions through physical examinations, medical imaging, and laboratory tests
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients
• Prescribe medications and recommend non-surgical treatments such as physical therapy or rehabilitation
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed

Requirements

• New Jersey State license
• Knowledge of orthopedic surgery, treatments, and terminology
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively
• Proficient in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems
