An established orthopedic practice in Manassas, VA is seeking a Physician Assistant to join their team. Work alongside a team of general orthopedic physicians. Candidates with orthopedic experience or licensed new graduates are encouraged to apply.

Job Description

• Full-time permanent position
• Monday-Friday schedule
• Split between the OR and clinic
• No call or weekend requirements
• Conduct thorough patient evaluations and assessments
• Diagnose conditions through physical examinations, medical imaging, and laboratory tests
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients
• Prescribe medications and recommend non-surgical treatments such as physical therapy or rehabilitation
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Perform injections

Requirements

• Virginia State license
• Knowledge of orthopedic surgery, treatments, and terminology
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively
• Proficient in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems
