Our client in Santa Barbara, CA is seeking a Physician Assistant to join their team. This is a full-time role working with a sports medicine physician. Candidates will assist in surgery, see patients in clinic and on the floor. Monday-Friday schedule with no call or weekend requirements. Experienced candidates and new graduates are encouraged to apply!

Job Description

• Provide outpatient and first assist services
• Examine patients and their medical records
• Order and study diagnostic tests (blood tests, X-rays, etc.)
• Diagnose health conditions and illnesses
• Prescribe medications
• Maintain accurate records and schedules
• Inform patients about their health conditions and prescribed medications
• Educate patients and their family members
• Promote good health practices

Requirements

• Active California state license or ability to obtain
• Ability to build rapport with patients
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
