Locums 1099 Position

Join our team in Oakland, CA, for a locum tenens opportunity. This position is available due to a vacancy and offers a flexible schedule with part-time options.

Job Description

• Start date upon credentialing (approximately 90 days)
• Duration of 90 days
• Day shift from 8 AM to 5 PM
• 24-hour call (ends at 8 AM the next day)
• Emergent shifts available on specific dates: 11/5 and 12/31
• Weekday call: 1 time per week
• Weekend call: 2 times per week
• Travel and lodging covered
• Standard IR procedures, trauma hemorrhage control, and GI/Gyn/Urology emergencies
• Volume of approximately 5 patients per day
• EMR system used: EPIC
• Work with RNs and techs; usually a solo IR provider
• Virtual interview with department manager/director
• Orientation lasts 1 to 2 days
• COVID vaccine required
